Everyone TV, the parent company of Freely, approached me to create a series of assets to announce new channels launching on the platform. This had to built in a way that could be updated and reused when announcing new channels going forwards, so it had to be Freely branded yet stand out compared to the rest of the posts Freely makes on social media, so that it felt like a celebration.
The team also requested that I update their endboard lockup with the new channel logos, but also build it in a way that would be easy for them to update when they need to in the future.

Development Breakdown
Endboard Lockup
The team originally requested that I use some of the non-standard colours in their brand colour palette, which I implemented into my early style frames.
As you can see we went through many iterations of different colour combinations in order to ensure that we'd explored every available option!
After several rounds of revisions it was determined that for this use case the non-standard colours wouldn't really work so I reverted back to the main core colour scheme, which worked a lot better.
As I knew the team wanted it to be easily updated in the future I had to implement templating tricks from the very start. Sometimes this made the development process a little arduous but ultimately it saved time when it came round to building the final
PSD project files.
Once the static images were at a stage where there were only minor adjustments to make I started developing them into the animated assets, once again making them as easy to reversion in the future as possible.

The team also wanted an update of their endboard lockup, including a selection of new channel logos to be added. This became quite tricky to fit into
a 5 second duration, but after a couple revisions and rethinking how the logos would animate in I managed to reduce the duration down.
